You can reduce transfer pressure by lowering intake a drop. More duration for that smaller than wanted carb too. More backsplash though.

The spacer between the muffler and cylinder took a couple hours to make,it tapers from 1/2" to 0 so the muffler will work.

J, in the thread I quoted earlier, the guy said to just heat the muffler and bend it....

"To use the 064 muffler you had to heat it with a torch and bend it downwards and then it would bolt on like stock."

Might save you some extra work...
