Lol. I tried but couldn't do it. Took it to my friend to have him try. I used 1/2"emt pipe. Very thick. And the used muffler has thin metal. Very difficult to find right heat setting to weld thin metal and thick hardened tubing. Lol
1/2"emt tube when cut on the angle had a decent flow through it.
I may try and use some solder over that to make it look a bit nicer. Keep it as backup. LOL
Did sound cool though.
You have to braze or tig it emt sux cuz of the galvinized *s-word in metal no way to make it look pretty youd been better off goin with cold rolled tubing in hardware section at lowes or home depot

So I took out the spark screen, opened the muffler outlet, but I don't think I spent long enough on the H tune.

I think it's a tad lean? Opinions and insults welcome in equal measure :)

Nice. Open that H screw more until its burbling. Lol
It will be better and stronger in bigger rounds. Piston, cylinder, bearings and internals will like it too.

Thanks man, I didn't really spend long outside. And my hearing is cr@p, I'll can usually pick out a saws tune much better when I hear it later e.g. on youtube! And it didn't sound like there was enough roughness to the sound.

It seems a really good saw, the idle and response seem good.

This is the first time I've used it - since buying it!

Cool. 036/360s are a good versatile saw. [emoji106]

Anyway, I played with the tune on the 036 today. Basically I turned the H screw fatter and fatter until it stumbled by the richness, then I took it back clockwise, just so it wasn't stumbling quite as much. I made some vids, possibly not the safest use of a saw, but hey, I used to ride motorbikes in my 20s and I survived that.

(the flying poplar piece wasn't in the plan)

Nice Matt. Sounds like it is stroking throughout the entire cut. Maybe back off the H just a wee bit. Do you have access to a tach? Doesn't really sound to me through the video that you are near the 14K range. Just me though.
Saw sounds nice. [emoji106]
Enjoy.
