Guys,

Can anyone recommend the stihl PN of an 036 or 360 muffler, which doesn't have this pi$$y little tube outlet, like the one that my 036 came with:

(with an almighty 8mm spanner for comparison)

I'm wanting to change it for a muffler with the classic deflector shield, since the outlets are easier to enlarge for that design. e.g. like this style:

From looking at the IPL for the 036, I can't actually seeing the pea shooter muffler there:

I looked at the IPL for the ms360 - it looked identical! Anyway what you guys reckon, is

(part 13) 1125 140 0611 a normal design i.e. not with the thin outlet tube?

Jusr weld a deflector on the flywheel side and call it a day.

There are AM 036 muffs available, but there's a baffle to remove and the fitment isn't perfect.

Yours kinda looks brazed on.
I forgot to say - I can't weld!

I've just seen this on ebay:

listed as

so I should I be good to go, with 1124 140 0611 PN.

Well I'm hoping to buy 1124 140 0611 (stihl PN) someday. Should be like the one in @rattler s above post.

The peashooter design just seems too restrictive to me.....but only time will tell

Sounds nice. I couldn't quite make out the muffler - has the Farmertec one not got the peashooter pipe then?

no the first is the pea shoooter vid that it had when i got it 5yrs ago.
and the second vid is the farmatec (like what rattler posted) with the timing advance of 15 thou. i wanted to do a before and after vid.
it breaths more without the pee-shooter cos after fitting the farmatec i had to adjust the LA cos the chain was going round.
