That master control, thing with linkages and kill switch, high idle, kill switch spring, plastic shaft.
Is that a throw away parts thing on high mileage 034s?
Anyone have that complete unit to sell?

I got this thing purring nice, except for above.
A "pro" operator ham thumbed the choke started this.
Don't let anyone touch your saws lol.

I will try and bend linkages but that is an orchestra in there.
The control (on off switch) twitches when blip the throttle.

Oh I will win, just needed to cry a little, thanks.

sometimes you can bend the spring to help function, but if the plastic switch shaft is worn then they tend to do that.

They are a PITA in that way, and I have seen multiple different choke linkage setups. Some older ones won’t wonk on newer tanks.

One word of caution from a guy that’s made the mistake. Don’t try to actuate any of the control lever function without the wire bullet in the control shaft. If it’s out, the shaft will grab and bend the control spring. Once the factory curve is bent out of its shape, you need an extra bottle of BP meds to have the patience to get it right.

I have some of those parts NOS here.

You guys are scaring me now.

Going to get one and use it for chunk downs on medium hardwoods up to two footers. Not looking for troubled controls.

It's back together and pretty sure it's not seen the last of me and new parts. It's getting there.
Combination of high mileage and an operator who was not familiar with it.
Thanks everyone.

I threw it on a scale for S and G, 17lbs fueled and 20" bar.
