That's the reason I'd want a 562 is because it uses large mount.

I guess it all depends on what size bar you plan on running. For me the biggest bar i run on them 90% of the time is 20" so i got the lighter 2260. I do have a 562 if i want to run an 24" without the weight of a 372.

This thread has me wanting another. Has anyone weighed a 562vs a 2260 power head or both with 24" bars?

555/556 husky is small mount. I mainly run a 15"rsn Windsor speed tip bar. Very agile 60cc setup. I am against running heavy large mount 24" bars on a 59cc saw, that's 80cc territory in the wood I encounter.

The jonsered 24" light bar in small mount is sweet..and obviously its gonna be lighter on a 2260 over any 562 and 24" combo.

Your wood is like concrete compared to our stuff over here. 24" is just fine on mine.

Hilarious, and predictable, that Mr. Potato Head has arrived here to start his familiar and worn out argument at every opportunity. Most of us are here to visit with friends, share some information, help each other with projects and just have some fun.

But there are others who troll the threads simply looking for an opportunity to disagree with people and start a senseless retreaded argument. Like ants at a picnic, they more or less infected another well known site and made it pretty much unbearable which has brought many of us here to a better place. Let's try and KEEP it a better place.

Bob will be receiving a call here shortly to pack me up a saw and ship it west. thanks guys, and thank you Bob.

But how much. I'll weigh my 562 in a little bit
I am interested in how much it weighs with bar, chain, fuel and oil like you're going to cut. We weighed some saws om sh a couple of weeks ago. Some were heavier that I thought.

It is hard to swallow that. It is the most problematic newer saw according to all the threads. I understand that people complain but you don't see any my stihl 362 won't start threads and they sell a lot more of those then 562's and if it is that complicated to start that people can't figure it out then it is not easier and no benefit to the AT. let's keep it real ST there have been many people with real problems begging for any help with their premium priced saw. I have even seen people have to ship their 562 across the country to site sponsors to try and get someone who could fix it and even acknowledge it was a warranty problem because to many people think like you and automatically blam the operator and it could never be this amazing premium saw. Let's keep it real and call a spade a spade. People who don't have a problematic 562 love them. However there are still some saws that have problems. Maybe they are all made Monday morning or Friday afternoon.

The world is a big place..problematic ?..maybe a few of em'

Talk to some stihl mtron owners..

You boys are balls deep in something you don't know a whole lot about and dont have much experience with...my boss has 2 562s that have been used/abused/pimped-out and passed around by the ears..they work well , dont believe everything you read.

Chainsaw forums...LOL

I'd still rather a 'problematic' 562 than near any other of the 60cc offerings. I have an echo 550p....it's the same size/weight of 70/80cc saw.

How much lighter would the Jonsered 2260/560 be because of the small mount and small bar?
Someone needs to weigh one, surely someone here has one with a scale.

Full of fluids, full of grime, husqvarna large dogs and 84dl bar. View attachment 24801

I thought the 562 would weigh less. My Echo cs600 with 24" bar.
