I've got a poulan pro strato handheld blower and a 3314 modded that all they have had there whole life is 100:1 saber . they both look great. I figured if 100:1 was going to kill something it would be a blower that spends its life wfo loaded tank after tank. Still looks good to me.
I have seen the results of 100:1 in chainsaws, I even have pics I posted up. IMHO If you tune rich you may get away with it, but overload the engine a little, or not have the carb spot on and you will have issues..[emoji111]

I just poured some 40:1 Stihl Premium orange cap (not Ultra) on the snow, blue.
You guys in the U.S. don't have Stihl mix blended by Castrol.
I was just replying for fellow Canadian Shanesaw80.
Willard I don't think discussing that oil with US members is much good as like you know Stihl USA uses something different as their OEM basic oil. I know here in AU its like Canada & you see the Castrol label on the mineral oil in the 'white bottle'. Although the full synthetic Ultra(fb rated) & Semi Synthetic HP(FD rated) I'm pretty sure or guess are the same oils. I don't mind the Castrol mineral Stihl oil, the few bottles I used gave me no reason not to like it. Many farmers here have ran saws 20+ years on that stuff with chains half dull through fat bottomed 038 magnums that only get a filter clean when the saw won't start.

@Willard I thought I had a few bottles of that stuff out in the shed. It’s been there for a few years and to be honest I’m not sure where I got it. I actually think I might have a couple more bottles of it in my work/ATV trailer. But if you find it works well then I may as well put it to use.

I didn’t know she was going to take a trip to WI. I could have saved you some shipping and sent it there directly. I have preprinted address labels for Scott...

Don’t think I was positive at the time that I was gonna port it. She’s stout and sooo smooth. Gotta make a video soon.

She’s got some miles on her in a box. Lol

Shane, that's awesome!
I run my older saws with it at 40:1 but with the new MTronic and AutoTune it don't hurt to run 50:1.
