I get the 60cc thing. That is what I prefer myself. I agree with the others, 562 and fix the 036.

The only way the 50cc saws get used is to leave the 60 at home….. maybe in 20 more years get him a 50

From what I have seen and read about the ms400, that might be a good dad’s saw.

Just my thoughts, I cut with a 036 for over 20 years. It was my only saw and I loved it. When I hit my mid 50’s I started wanting something lighter for cutting smaller limbs and small fire wood. 562 is great but I am now on the 40 50 and 60 cc saw plan. Need to work on getting my 70cc running. More is better.
I like having choices. You can’t go wrong buying your Dad a new saw great jester.
