Having a lathe is a blessing. I make my own inserts most of the time.

It took me awhile before I learned to use it for other things besides saw cylinders....

I have access to two lathes but no time to use them. I cut threads in shop class but haven't attempted since esp this fine. I have used a bunch of the 6mm inserts but have not had the kit to do M5. I do have the inserts and will probably put one in with epoxy but I need to get to the store after family stuff this afternoon.
