Its alright, man. They both need 6 bolt cases, EL-48 carbs, a top end and much moreI sold all the spares. Sorry Austin. What all do they need between the two of them?
All Im gonna dump int it is a cheapy $85.00 top end and an EL-48 carb from amazon. And maybe seal the cases with a strong liquid sealerWe’ll sit down soon and make a parts list.
Nope. It stayed the sameExcellent Austin.
Dan, @paragonbuilder told me that one. Lol
When saw was idling and you sprayed the carb cleaner did the idle get faster and speed up?
I had another top cover that had a slit in it from my uncle. And would foil tape work as well? thats all we have at the moment But i'm gonna muff mod that 562 when I get home!!!!Awesome... now gut the muffler completely (helps with heat not just performance), clean up cylinder... use a 40$ meteor piston and put some of the foil Kevin mentioned under the muffler. I wouldn’t waste $ on the carb if it works well. Maybe put a fresh carb kit in it and new fuel line/filter. Also copy that slot the new ones have in top cover for heat management. At least this is what I’d do.
I’m not sure. Does it say how heat resistant it is on the tape?I had another top cover that had a slit in it from my uncle. And would foil tape work as well? thats all we have at the moment But i'm gonna muff mod that 562 when I get home!!!!
I dont know Ill have to check when I get home.Does it say how heat resistant it is on the tape?
Yup, he found my stash...lol!I’m not sure. Does it say how heat resistant it is on the tape?
There wasn’t a base gasket installed Jeff.OK...lol
I'm still confused, but that's ok.
Glad you got it working so the 562 is usable.
Now go and cut some wood and make some money. Lol
