As you fellers know.........my grandson Jonathon and I assembled a couple of these 660 clones a few days ago.

Now I'm gonna be disqualified right off the bat for using a top end that ain't mentioned in the rules. I forgot that I specifically said Hyway, FarmerTec, or Cross. It's too late to back up now though.

What I have is a New West MS660 top end here.......still an aftermarket top end.

To Disqualify an Aftermarket Top End because it’s not named sounds like too much regulation, personally.

The port timing numbers outta the box are......

Ex: 96
Tr: 121
In: 82

After taking .050" from the squish, and .050 from the base......

Ex: 99.5
Tr: 125
In: 85

The only changes to port height I'm making are to the transfers. They will be raised to 118.

Well........I just don't wanna seem like I'm taking advantage of the rules to win.

To be honest, I don't care if I win or not........I'm just really glad I was able to get a saw together.

Were the bevels on the ports that nice out of the box or did you clean em up?

No markings on the jug at all to determine what brand it is. The spot I ground on the outside was to provide case clearance.
