Made a little exhaust tip for the generator. Hoping to be able to run it in shed without having to move it out. This should work. I just got to get some gasket material to make a gasket for it.

If you pull the carb to take it apart you need to take the high speed mixture screw out then use a flat blade screwdriver to remove the fuel tube then take the 4 screws out to split the carb. Also check the throttle shaft for wear. That carb is notorious for the holes hogging out.
Well i got lucky. Good old seafoam is amazing. I put about quarter can in which is kinda heavy. Ran for about 10 mins and slowly took choke off and ran perfect. Let run another five mins then filled the tank which only holds a few liters or so. Fired it back up and let it run for a good hour and a half. It never missed a beat. It shiuld be good to go. Will go over and fire it up again maybe on sunday and see how it is but pretty sure its good.

Time to hurry and play the lottery while you are lucky.

It looks good, but I would get some clearance around the exhaust pipe and the combustible wall. Just like with a wood burning stove going through a roof once you load that generator it will build alot of heat and have a good chance of setting the wall on fire. A double insulated pipe like they use on a pellet stove or something like that to protect the wood and siding from getting too hot. Cj

Yep, a small section of pellet stove double wall pipe or the same from a gas stove. The double wall doesn't get very hot at all. Gives something to hook to also. Cj

I HAD a Honda 2k....someone wanted it more than me. Now I have 2 HF Predator 2k with a parallel kit. All in they were less than 1 Honda. No problems with them at all.

Good to know. Both of my new 2200's are on the recall list from the fuel shutoff I believe. Still no parts available. Nice huh, 2k worth of generators you are not supposed to use. Yea that is going to happen. Cj
