How do you guys cook the ramps?

Eat the tops like lettuce on a sandwich. Wilt them like spinach. Cut up the bulb and put it in pasta sauce. Just use them like an onion.

Need days in the 60s and nights in the upper 40s and lower 50s and lots of rain for a few days.

We are on the right track, we had 2 weeks of on and off rain. Now it's in the 70's during the day and 50 at night.

I could dig a limestone corey on my property. No joke, there are 3 within a couple miles

Well elms thrive in limestone. Good low pH soil. That's one of the"tricks". It's really not that hard once you learn the cycle as they run.

Here in Kansas on river bottom around 1-2 year dead cotton wood trees you can find them like gang busters.
