Morel Mushrooms

Anybody freeze them with dry ice? Seen some ramps yesterday in Ohio also.

I ate ramps yesterday, I cut the whole plant up and mixed it with onions and peppers and cooked it with some hawt sausage.

They kinda look like leeks that we have here. Google says they have a different scientific name, but only because of the region their grown in. For all intents and purposes, they're the same plant. I smell them all the time in the woods, but I've never tried them. Looks like I should

Yeah you should there good.Nothing like some grilled trout with a bunch of leeks with peppers and don't forget the helmans (mayonaise).

All the way home yesterday my Conductor was pointing out ramps along the right off way(he carries a shovel with him). I get home I have to gather a couple heifers that went on walk about. You think I could find a single ramp on this place?
