Added two more vintage Pioneers to the stable, a decent P40 and a pretty nice 14-20, both are runners, yep, the 14-20 is really loud with a stack muffler...lolIMAG0528.JPG IMAG0529.JPG IMAG0530.JPG IMAG0531.JPG

They both look like they are in good shape. Usually the paint is falling off of the p40. The early p series had paint issues right from the factory.
I may repaint the muffler but leave the rest as is, considering a full wrap handle, this series just look great with one, it still runs very well......;)

Like most, my primer diaphragm was shot on the 14-20, after several attempts at making a new diaphragm with no success, my brain went into overdrive and I came up with this, a simple fix to an old problem, not sure if this fix has been done before or not, if not, it's just a simple common "pull push" primer used in many pieces of OPE, the style with two mounting holes would also work if the original hole is hogged out some, the snap in style I used fits snugly in the existing hole and washer holds it in from the inside, it worked out great!, just thought I'd share.....;)IMAG0535.JPG IMAG0536.JPG

20180516_195907.jpg Forgot to post this up. Progress so far on my p60, two stage reeds, blocked the govener, installed a hightop 288 elbow and filter which is temporary until I get my velocity stack for the low top elbow.

It's all that plastic on the Stihl that makes it look more macho. Kinda like stuffin
a bra on a small chested woman.
