Just tossed a brand new SKF bearing in the garbage. Took out of box and loose, can hear it chatter when shaken.

Round filed it. Never thought I'd see the day.

Just a few weeks ago I pulled a brand new GM alternator from a box, spun the pulley and it sounded like it was filled with gravel.

Hey there Al,
Give them bearings a squirt of oil and recheck them. If cleaned dry, the oil clearance can be noticed. If still loose after that...

It could have been misboxed too, if it was a c4 clearance they can be noticeably loose.

I thought about trying to find a Ducati - figured it would be pretty tough to find

I just do a search on ebay for "Stihl 026 ignition" and choose used items. I've found three that way.

I think Al was planning on a decomp for this and regular pull handle as opposed to D handle. The cylinder looks so *b-wordin! Also loving the look of the monster exhaust deflector.
