Shipping was 4 bucks and change...Shipping is a killer though. [emoji52]
Na its all good.
Here's a 46 with some use on it.I have one for a 460, bought it on eBay last winter new in packaging for $40 shipped, butt I ain't got around to using it yet.
I might put it into use on my 460 here soon.
Everywhere I go I search for wood that would justify owning a 661, unfortunately unless I can convince a city tree guy to haul some wood to my yard nothing around here would require a 90cc saw. I still will likely own one...
That did it. A logger just sold me a stock MS661 for $800 and threw in four 30" Stihl bars that I can easily recondition. I sold two of the bars for $60, so my net is about $740. This saw starts and runs flawlessly. I have no complaints except that my 660 and 064 are both jealous and fearful that they will be left out.I was very skeptical about Mtronic saws too. But as of late, I have seen some screamers. Tree Monkey, MMWS, John Redfin, all build super strong versions of this saw. (Sorry if I forgot any porters here). You can't argue that. Julian puts up some awesome videos of this saws capabilities.
No doubt, Mtronic and Fuel Injection are the way of the future. Get on the train, or get left behind. I am probably the biggest skeptic. LOL
Kevin (moparmy) has a real strong 661 that was run at Dan's house. Very smooth, clean running saw for sure.
Hard to believe that this saw has a year of work on it -- maybe 300 hours. I did very little restoration work on it. Here are a couple of Pics to prove that I landed this big fish:

View attachment 104977 So now I am entrenched in the M-tronic world. The seller said he needed some temporary cash for repairs on his other equipment -- skidder, picker truck, etc. No bargaining was involved.
