I also cut the key .030 and assembled the cylinder, muffler and flywheel. The pic also shows the paint stirrer I modded to help me sand the bevels on the cylinder ports.

Now I have to find that other thread where they were identifying some of the parts I'm not familiar with.

A little Vaseline works wonders when trying to install those big rubber isolaters.

Can't do the oil pump etc till the new seal comes.

Oh Crap, was trying like heck to figure out where this one package of parts goes, then I realize it is a chain catch, I never had one like that before! Mystery solved!!!

I still have to figure out the brake and the chain adjuster, never played much with either!

Just pull the plastic cover over the brake assembly on one of your other saws, it should be similiar

Are these chain adjusters pieces of S*** or am I doing something wrong? Where does the O ring go? I greased the crap out of it and it will not work!!!

Mine moves about a 1/4" each way, then jams! Where does the O ring go???

My chain adjuster is kaput, has a flat spot. Will see if I can steal parts from a broken saw tomorrow.

Kinda sad that one can't even get a full running saw from the kits. All the cheap copies.
They just can't get ot right.

We knew that before we bought them Jeff. That's why a 660 is like $200. If. It was perfect they would be a lot more.
