Awsome demonstration of chain break , although its a real pita, but any ideas why it broke.?
Picco doesn’t last too long if you grind on the chassis too much.Awsome demonstration of chain break , although its a real pita, but any ideas why it broke.?
That, and Doc gives me free beer and health care. What's not to like!
I hope good health comes from the beer prescription!
Swap the coil. It's an inherent 026 thing in some ways.Al, got any other ideas to fix the idle issue?
Nice Duane. That thing is humming right along. Have to start asking what setup you have on it. By the sounds of it, the big carb setup. Lol
@drf256 Al worked his ass off to get this setup dialed in. He got it right! We both agreed that it may end up being a little fussy living on the edge. So, yesterday I choked it, pulled it until it popped, choke off, two more pulls and it was running. I never touched a screw all night. It could use the LA dropped a little, as the chain will continue to spin after a cut. The 044 setup worked perfect yesterday. There are a bunch of folks on the forum that gave input/feedback behind the scenes. Thanks to all! It takes a village to raise a badass kid like Chucky...Jeff, see Al's build thread.
I ran it at the PA gtg! I was quite impressed with it! It had the 044 carb setup on it then.I saw that too Dan. Lol
Sounds to me like that saw would run better with 3/8 full chisel. Was it 14100 in the cut or wide open?
My MOFO 026 was stroking at 16k. Lol. But I don't run it there. Tuned at 14600 or so.
Mike, the saw was a convertible saw. Runs on 2 different carb setups. I could tell it was the 044 setup though.
