Saw not 100% done.

Duane and I have a great arrangement. My daughter and friends go to Penn State in State College PA. It happens to be 5 minutes from Duane. So he can do some playing and we can send the saw back and forth with zero worry or cost.

It works.

I got that Ducati coil. I haven't tried it yet. If you're interested.

Nice Duane. That thing is humming right along. Have to start asking what setup you have on it. By the sounds of it, the big carb setup. Lol

Jeff, see Al's build thread.
@drf256 Al worked his ass off to get this setup dialed in. He got it right! We both agreed that it may end up being a little fussy living on the edge. So, yesterday I choked it, pulled it until it popped, choke off, two more pulls and it was running. I never touched a screw all night. It could use the LA dropped a little, as the chain will continue to spin after a cut. The 044 setup worked perfect yesterday. There are a bunch of folks on the forum that gave input/feedback behind the scenes. Thanks to all! It takes a village to raise a badass kid like Chucky...:chuck:

I saw that too Dan. Lol
Sounds to me like that saw would run better with 3/8 full chisel. Was it 14100 in the cut or wide open?
My MOFO 026 was stroking at 16k. Lol. But I don't run it there. Tuned at 14600 or so.

Mike, the saw was a convertible saw. Runs on 2 different carb setups. I could tell it was the 044 setup though.

I ran it at the PA gtg! I was quite impressed with it! It had the 044 carb setup on it then.
