I'd like to run that saw again with a proper carb. It felt really strong when it was fueling right but kept cutting out.

I'm with you Mike I may have to do some practicing at home before I embarrass myself in front of a crowd. Now if I could only find some of those naked square trees growing in my woods.

I think I'm gonna try what you said. Bigger fuel line, gutted filter, and maybe ad another tank vent. It ran perfect with the stock filter. Once I switched to the stack is when it had problems. I didn't get a chance to run it with stack before Dustin took it to the tn gtg. Yesterday was the first time I ran it with stack. Once I get it sorted I can box it up and send it to ya. Run it all you want, it will just sit here on a shelf anyway.

Embarrassed is when your the only guy that brought a less than 3 cube saw to a GTG to cant race. thank goodness @Definitive Dave had something in his truck.

Toss the air filters to race. Those stock carbs are marginal stock. 385 carb fixes it right up.

It's a poleman m9dded carb with a velocity stack. Ran great with stock filter.

I've had some that wouldn't feed a few of tgose saws ported. Had to go to a 660 or 385 carb

I usually don't run an air filter on some of them. It chokes them down. Quick check will be pull the filter.

Just pull the filter off and see what happens. I had a hard time tuning one with HD filter. It was starved for air not fuel. Same symptoms
