I gotta get me one of those 262XP's (as if I need another saw). I ran my vintage Husky 257 today using the same chain with a 20" bar. I also had to noodle cut the rounds to save my back when loading and splitting. This chain worked very well. After six buck cuts and six noodles, it still had an edge.
It seems that the 257 running 3/8" pitch chain burps the noodles out better (less clogging) than the 51 running .325" pitch. Not sure why. Both saws have about the same cutting speed when bucking.
