I don't believe I have...explain it?
My Grandfather designed and built the first one in 1954 and set a world record with it in 1955 for the longest free flight with an unmanned aircraft. Aviator magazine did the article on it. The first ones were engine powered with no radio control and eventually became radio controlled.

I'm going to be moving my moving my woodworking shop really soon and thought I'd ask about lighting.

In the farm shop we have HO T-5 that I really like they are bright.

My question is what what type of Led light would be comparable.

I'm an apprentice. What do you have

I'm going to be moving into a 18'x28' with 10' walls.
I want it as bright as the pictures I posted. I'm just not sure about leds and "they" say go with leds.

Sorry I haven't done much lighting. Mostly power distribution not control work

Make sure to have some logs to show off that splitter on the 25th Jason.
We're still shooting for the 25th Dave...unless airplane work and drafted for that wknd work, we're still on. Hopefully I'll know something the work week beginning the 20th. They like to make themselves look good on EOMP reports at the end of each month. Keeps the Commanding General happy and shining like a new dime.

Our old shop was a bat cave... I wanted it bright!
I had 8' fluorescents in the garage. Got tired of replacing bulbs all the time. I bought 8' retro fit leds on ebay. Unhook the balast, wire the new bulbs with 110v hot on one end, neutral on the other. Shes plenty bright now, but I have no idea on longevity yet.

Here's some different angles of the carnage...need to get off my ass and do some cleaning up/straightening up, sorting, and chunking. You think this is a clusterphuck, you oughta see the topside of the shop through a hidden/pull down stairwell and an access framed out in the ceiling joists that's 34" x 44" wide. Got an eye lag screw with pulley mounted to the bottom of the ridge, with a big rope and big basket for pulling chit up there that can't fit up the hidden stairwell. You fellas don't rectum I'm a hoarder do ya?

Looks pretty damn well organized from here, and clean too. But it might be a little tight getting the Tracker in there. 35 years ago my brothers girl friend ( Blondie ) had a saying. ( If it don't fit force it! ) never forgot that!
