Friend of mine is looking to buy a new ported echo 2511, would buy it ready to go or can buy a new unit and have it sent. What do your lead times look like?

Few very good builders here.
All depends on that your friend is looking out of the build.
Lead times depend on how well you communicate with your chosen builder, you would be amazed what very good honest 2 way communication does.

two different builders, @Red97 is Joe (dyno Joe), and @mortalitool is red beard saws (nick stoeckle). I've got a ported 2511 from another builder, hands down the best climb saw in the mix of 201's, t540ixp, 2500t. Heard good things about both those builders, dont think you'll go wrong.
