I’m sure he has the talent.
I’ve got a line on a good used tank for a fair price.
If anyone wanted to repair it, it would have to be for the love of the tank, I’m not willing to invest anything more into it.

Probably not, these are glued from the factory so welding is not be possible because the glue will mess with the weld.

Interesting that there is an anniversary sticker (1689-1989) on the top cover, must not be original?
The serial # 6480113. Dates this saw the 113th produced in the 48th week of 1986.
I could be wrong. Wouldn’t be the first time.

Anybody have a good technique for cleaning carbon and such out of a crusty old muffler?
Is there anything that dissolves that crap?

Bead blaster is probably the best way. Maybe some purple power in a ultrasonic cleaner??

A propane torch works great. It turns it to just a powder and falls right off.
