Very interesting that the lengths were different between them. Why is that?The dominant pin is .001 smaller in diameter than the stihl or meteor pin.
Its loose in the piston bore.
Gonna have a word with them. Not going in a saw i put my name on.
Trimmed down stock pin to meteor length in the lathe. Saved 2 grams. Better than nothing.

A certain 395 of mine beat dans 394. You’d be hard pressed to tell the difference without a stopwatch though.It’s all good Dan,
