I’m curious what a dealer would charge for that kit. Might have to make a run and find out...like I need an excuse to go to the saw shop lolThe same clutch cover at a local saw shop here sells for $80 by itself.
Everyone's different but in handView attachment 183722 View attachment 183723 I use this when cutting nasty old-growth type Doug fir.
How about compared to a ported XPW 75cc Mason?More torque.
i assume he meant USING one, not POLISHING one. sheesh...
$32 and a couple nickels after tax at my dealer...I ordered one. LolAint that they truth!

haha for some reason i thought it was spike60 that posted that. hence the bob lolSince this thread was revived...How are things in the 572 world? Sound off if you’ve got some good time on one or seven.
If that was a stihl part it would not only be backorderedI had to order that, worth for the clutch cover and dawgs alone.
Says it's genuine, let's see what shows up.

Hard to say between those two, have to run em back to back. I personally like the 50mm oe better than the xpw even though it’s a tad more high strung. Xpw does have good torque with long bar. 572 does have more torque than a 50mm oe or xtorq though (stock vs stock). How about compared to a ported XPW 75cc Mason?
No worries Custer, I’ve been called much worse than Bob. Lolhaha for some reason i thought it was spike60 that posted that. hence the bob lol
