I read somewhere that the average 35+ year old US male is carrying around the equivalent weight of 1.5 bricks in his colon from eating processed foods.

So, I guess if everybody just gets a thorough colon cleansing, the added weight of these saws won't seem so bad. :D

After my trip to Mexico last month I am certain there isn't anything extra left in my colon... Talk about a cleanse...

I would swear Andre posted this here in the thread. PHO dry.

Also I know the guy that showed the 372 572 with 20" and fluids. Good honest guy. Also I think both of the saws have been ported by Jason Egan from ID. So they may weigh alittle less. ;) :p

Weights by brands broke down. Some I save for my own info posted by others all over. http://chainsawrepair.createaforum.com/chain-saw-weights/

Mind if I put this image in the gallery, Andre?

BTW, the 572 has loads of stroke. I am curious to see if they are gonna simply release a slightly modded BB version for their 80cc saw.

That sucks.

Is it just me are does your thumb screw on the filter look wonky/at an angle? Could that be the issue or is just the picture? Still, even if this was it; it wouldn’t explain how the contact area around the tread is clean.

Can’t believe that filter is that with your conditions.

If you notice in your previous photos. The dust is mainly in the middle, the port and starboard sides are mostly clean.

Add a pre-filter/ sock?

If you guys remember back awhile, the filter material Husqvarna uses in these filters, "which is used an many of their older saws" can have issues in certain types of really fine dust. I'm specifically referring to Matt Ward from Australia and the issues he had with his 390's. Oddly the 372 didn't have these problems in the same conditions, while the 385/390 did, even though the material used is the same. This give me the opinion too much vacume is being created for the size of the filter.

This is ony one example we see here, but it sure looks bad. Matt's fix was to use K&N spray air filter oil, and with one example he cut the filter material off of a dolmar 7900 HD filter and epoxied it into a 390 filter, which worked extremely well and resolved the issue permanently, without the mess of air filter oil. I have used this oil on a couple filters myself "the Dolmar 5100 comes to mind" and it stopped any fine dust from getting in.

I personally have never had an issue with any filters made from this type of filter material.[emoji111]

Oil the filter with the spray, if it still does it, it’s probably leaking from the screw. That doesn’t look right to me either. But it’s hard to say from just pictures.
