Only time i retune is if change oil brands.
Agree. I think all my saws should be that way. It's frustrating when you actually wanna get something done. Not that it takes all that long. But let's say it's cold as hell an u wanna get to work to warm up I really don't like fidgeting around

sooooooooo, this guy left a few saws,
ported 372, 200t, 346, 440, 460 known bad bearings, 084, and is sending a 660.

I finished up on a 661 and moved on to the 200t.
rope is broke, air filter is getting thin, fuel line cracking but not leaking.
started a list of needed parts.
cleaned the saw up , looks good.
advanced the timing, carb mod, muffler mod, is all I do to these and is now done.
set it aside till I get parts to finish it.

on to the next saw, a 440
started to tear it down to port. start a parts list of needed parts.
take the muffler off and guess what.

Wow...just wow. That crank is dry as a bone. Couldn't have been running all that good but amazing it did none the less. Have you asked him what oil and ratio he's running? Just curious, not trying to get THAT topic going.

I tune every time I cut too, especially this time of year. 20* one day then 60* then back to 20* sometimes.
