What you need the “385” heads for? Building a 429/460 for something?

I once completely rebuilt a vibrating dildo for a hot girl with big tits using only my feet. In a hot tub.

If I can do that, you can change a gawd damn solenoid.

how did the plastic handle on the vibrating dildo effect the sideways balance of the hot tub?

Interesting given that you actually use a saw for a full workday, unlike the weekend warrior crowd I belong to, and I would have therefore thought vibration issues would be more of a concern to you.
I also use them every day, and I couldn't really tell a difference...

@Mastermind did you mean 428 CJ heads? My memories are telling me the 429 is a regular big block while the 428 was the Cobra.
I do realize the heads are interchangeable.

No both the 428 and 429 had cobra versions. A 428 is a completely different engine from the 429. 428 is a fe “Ford Edsel” engine with a deep skirt block design like the old y-block it replaced. Block gos below center-line of crank for strength. The 429 is a “385 series” engine which also includes the 460 and is the replacement for the fe. The fe family also includes the 332,352,360,390,406,410 and 427.

Thank you for your reply. Been 20yrs since I played with a gas engine. I was aware of the FE and 385 series and their differences. I was unaware of the 429 having the Cobra version. I still have my 460 in a truck I'd like to stuff a 6.7l 12v in.
