Yep the collage and HS BB tournaments are happening, so always a vey high probably that moistures will happen. At least in our area. Likely the best betting event of the season.

For all intents winter as a season is over seeings this is the first day of spring .This season brings on other weather problems such as it could rain like a cow peeing on a flat rock at times .The rich farm lands in NW Ohio can almost turn into the swamp lands of Louisiana .Along with that the west winds that pick up speed crossing Indiana can rain down tree limbs galore .This morning I had to cut up a rather large limb from one of the soft maples lining both sides of my 600 feet driveway .The planting of soft maple some 40 years ago obviously wasn't the best choice .Sugar maple or pin oak would have sufficed much better IMO .

We always get a cold snap or two in April. As long as it doesn’t freeze, we will be OK. Last two years it has been the middle of March. Devastated the blueberries two years ago and took out most of the Georgia peach crop last year.

Winter is over! WTH are you guys talking about, 21 degrees, wind 16- gusting to 24mph, lake effect snow. Winter just started here, again!

Not so fast there, Overnight we got 3ish inches, first in about a month. Heck the ground's been bare. Claiming to be more moistures coming Sunday through Tuesday. Temps could play a factor if it's rain, sleet or snow.

Figured we'd get some snow, the NCAA basketball March madness is ramping up. Surest bet in town is that there will be snow events sometime during these games.

We got 9 inches of snow overnight.

And a bit more overnight. More than 4" had already been cleared before calling it last night.

We got 10" of heavy, wet snow. We didn't have to go anywhere and nobody was stopping. I left it alone because the driveway is soft. This morning the driveway is almost clear.
