The site owner on the mentioned site tried to appear to be a yuppie millionaire ,which I might add he certainly is not and surrounded himself with minions,yes men so to speak .Anyone who had another site was targeted to be exiled .Further more anybody who spent too much time on another site was also in the bulls eye . That didn't work as well as they might have expected .I'd imagine if it were to be done over the results would be different .No one person or one group will ever totally control the internet .That ole boy done chit in his mess kit .It was all brought about because of egoism and greed .

I've seen sites come and go,lots of them .What makes them fail are for example promoting only one persons work,turning it into a platform for political opinions .The biggest of them all ,again my opinion, is assuming they have the only site on the net and assume they reign supreme above all the others .

That site,because they have lost a majority of the knowledge base will never recover to be the place that was so much fun some years back .Too many enjoyable sites have arisen ,this being one of them .

Fear of competition!
Although in my experience censoring a competing sites name wakes curiosity and the members look them up with even more interest (I am a gallery moderator on another non OPE themed site).

I say it shows the matureness of the people running OPEForum them not trying to present themselves as the one and only.

For what its worth, other than AS from where I came over, I didn't feel the need to look up other chainsaw themed sites.

I'm no expert but running on the lean side at A.S. seems to be the normal these days must be the altitude.Or know one knows how to retune up there on that high mountain that's been stripped of all its good fiber.

I'll just kind of take somewhat of a high road on this .I could dig enough "dirt" on ArboristSite to fill in the Panama canal if I chose to .I choose not to for the simple reasons I'll not be dragged down to their level .That guy just hung himself with his own rope,I didn't have a thing to do with it .To gang bang him would not solve anything .It's far better to let people like that vacillate in their own self destruction . He knows he burned way too many bridges but has no idea how to rectify the problem .--Oh well chit happens ---
Now I know D or his staff of minions read almost everything on every internet site having anything to do chainsaw,arborist or forestry related stuff .Unless his ego is more mellow this stuff infuriates him because he can't control it which elates me to no end .
