That's still one of the better movies ever made and the best performance that Val Kilmer ever did... Far better and ore believable than Top Gun... I forget who played Ike Clanton in the movie, but there are far too many of them out there...

What many people forget is that Kevin Costner made Wyatt Earp at roughly the same time with a bigger budget and distribution. Dennis Quaid half starved himself to death to play Doc Holiday.

Kurt Russell's Tombstone ( and it IS his movie) and Kilmers performance blows Costners movie away.

Same thing happened to me a week or two ago. No alerts. I did the same thing you guys are doing. Funny thing is once I visited a thread I was watching the alerts seemed to come back on. It's been back and forth for me pretty much since the start.

I just saw this thread. I came over when someone (I wont tell who, but they are highly placed), mentioned "a new website is starting without all the foolishness". That is when I signed up.
I have been back to AS just once to look around. I am glad I left.
