If you need it, then you need it. Beats cutting by hand. Lol

I'll try to find my pad I was writing that stuff down in. One day 50 bd ft of cherry was 2 gallons of fuel. Another 60 bd ft of oak was a little less. Just depended on which saw was used.

I keep track of the special ported saws more or less, the other ones I don`t care how much goes through them. Each year I build myself at least one very different ported saw and use only one can for fueling it for its first year of heavy production cutting, easier to keep tabs on that one.

When new or fresh rebuilt I usually count how many tanks I have through it so I know when it's broken in well. most of my saws I've had for a while I've lost count on.

I've got a tach/hourmeter on everything that runs. I'm sure surprised sometimes when I look and see alot more hours than I thought I'd see

I helped a friend cut firewood a few weeks ago. 12-16"ish maple. He lifted it up with the skidsteer. I bucked it with the 394 and a 20" b/c. Like 4 or 5 seconds per block. Kinda fun
They are fun for short times with a short bar. 20" with a 9 pin is fun
