My brother really likes his 241C, and I that 026 that Dr Al ported for me (converted a 024S to 026). My brother's 020 also cut very well when it would run right, but it did not like to run right.

I don't have experience with the other saws.

No personal experience, but I will say that the 238/42/242XP is the ultimate limbing machine.

+1,
I drive gladly half Norway to pick up a runner, I dont care so much about the rest of those Huskies, 90% of my work is pure limbing work.

Just some suggestions to add. Stihl 192 rear handle, echo has their new 361p rear handle version of the 355 that I would like to check out. The 421 is a great solid saw but I think it is more then just limbing saw, more like a tackle anything that comes up saw.

I wanna keep my choice light weight
I went through this process in 2013 when I wanted the lightest high quality saw with most power but weight was the major concern. With a RW laminate bar the balance/weight/performance of this saw is really stout. Worth the $$ for sure.1470628971307.jpgIts sitting on scales that read 10.165lb, thats with no fuel no chain but a full tank of bar oil & RW bar. There is now some good cheaper options like the RH echo 355 etc. Don't get the ms150 rear handle, I have one & its a much better saw in TH configeration. But the 201 is great with a handle hanging off the back.

Keith....Good opportunity to get some of the saws together and try them out . You may have a few friends with some of the ones mentioned and be able to get a demo saw or 2 from a dealer . Could be a good excuse for a get together and a some food/drink. No substitute for trying a saw out .
