only one week, think I will stick to my old 242's...those oldies outrun the 543 totallyAnyone had any experience with the husky 543xp?
+1,No personal experience, but I will say that the 238/42/242XP is the ultimate limbing machine.

I like the antivibe and performance of the new saws, you guys can have the classics.
It was ported but had problems staying running. Sent it off to Virgina to be fixed but they were having trouble fixing it so it was traded for the 562xp I have nowI vote port that 550.
I would own one in a heart beat if I could afford one. What are people's thoughts on the 201 rear handle? This one if for sale locally?

I liked my 241 with 16" bar. Wasnt tip heavy and balanced wellI like a limbing saw that is a top handle, and light enough that I can easily hold it in one hand while I throw brush with the other.

I went through this process in 2013 when I wanted the lightest high quality saw with most power but weight was the major concern. With a RW laminate bar the balance/weight/performance of this saw is really stout. Worth the $$ for sure. Its sitting on scales that read 10.165lb, thats with no fuel no chain but a full tank of bar oil & RW bar. There is now some good cheaper options like the RH echo 355 etc. Don't get the ms150 rear handle, I have one & its a much better saw in TH configeration. But the 201 is great with a handle hanging off the back.I wanna keep my choice light weight
