I won't lie,if you haven't tried starting a 230lb 90cc saw it is a experience.
I have built and started these saws for many years and they still get me now and then. Drop start is the only way,if you try it on the ground your gonna lose.
I'm surprised how many people tell me their saw never ran so good from the dealer brand new. This being with no modifications, just repairs and proper tuning per the saws specs.
When I'm chasing gains I make videos of the saw stock, then ported several different ways. After I've got a model nailed down, I don't even start them before teardown.
