It is great they have the big cube small blocks out there (the 351 is a small block in my book). Used to be that if you wanted to go over 350 cubes, you had to shoe horn an FE block in the car. Great engines, but very heavy and large!

Putting headers on a FE block Mustang (67-70) was an all day job, and a lot of "blessings" would be uttered!

AM heads have also profoundly changed the game. That stuff just was not available to us back in the day.

I had a 79 hatchback with a 383 stroker in it. Mean little car.
If it had a 383 I'm sure it was, takes a lot of work to get these lite mustangs to hook and with some extra torque it's really fun trying to hold em in the road.

Cab tractors can be a P ITA to work on.

Yes they are but I'll put in the extra hrs for any repairs.

Turn the lights on and take a drive b4 sun up sometime and look at all the *s-word stirred up in the air you breath in with every breath.

Plus I plowed snow Monday @ near 0° in a T shirt.

I had a 8" rear end in it from a Mustang II. That rear is 2.5" narrower. It was running 3:55 gears with double axle washers (poor man's posi). With 10" slicks it hooked real well. It ran a best of 7:10 in the eighth mile. The Ford guys hated me for using a Chevy small block, but it sure fit nice in there.

If it has a cab........it's gotta have heat and AC. I about froze my ass off these last few days setting out hay.
I know how it feel Randy.
I started with one old Ford 2000, open cab, brake on one wheel, my forrest and tractor roads are kinda steep, last time I used it in winter I trew of chainsaws and got ready to jump, and it was the last straw.
Went to the bank and borrowed money and bought one 4x4, front lifter and timber grip. It has been some hard years to pay the tractor down, hasnt regret it one day though.
