Finished fixing the Husqvarna 6021p push mower for my neighbor.
Been sitting a few years and it had congealed gas in the carb. Took it apart and cleaned it, so now it starts on first or second pull.

Gave it back to him yesterday, so now I can actually get to my bench in my shed/shop.
So now I can get back to working on chainsaws.

Some old school muscle on the bench today -

111S - just arrived. Did a quick triage -- compression at 200 psi! Needs oil cap, dogs, starter pawl, decomp valve. Also need an air cleaner cover for one of my other 111's.

084 - one complete and rebuilding one. No spark now; hope I don't need a new coil.

Stihl Contra - runs on a prime, but not getting fuel to the carb.

Cool vise. [emoji3]
Doc Al gave my son one all set up with an aluminum shaft and flag. That gave me the idea to use an clapped out old bar, so I searched around the barn and found something in the chassis tubing pile.

1” 4130 chrome moly, fits perfectly in the mount, trimmed the bar in the bandsaw and TIG welded it together. Completed it with Husqvarna orange spray paint.

I’ll probably trim the length a little bit, it’s just a tiny bit too tall

What you do when your bench gets covered in crap.

I should have thought of that myself instead of spending three days cleaning and sorting stuff.

Took this 2013 372xp x-torq in trade today. He has dual ported the muffler since I saw it this winter.
Also got the new full wrap and big dawgs with the half wrap and small dawgs.
Has had a new oem topend put on it by local husky dealer in the past couple years and a member here had cleaned the ports up some.
It will be for sale.

Vids Curt!!!!

Oh there will be vids..... just have to figure out how to post them.

Rain is just stopping, so going to give it a little bit and head out for some test cuts. I did go ahead and add a set of matching felling dogs. I am so far beyond excited! This is better than Christmas

Lol. You have to upload the videos to youtube then post the link in the thread.

You gonna go with .325 or 3/8?
