The stock Zama has been compromised by the EPA. Rich can get the carb performing the way it should be.

A lot of guys didn't like the stock Zama and took them off. If you can find one of those blokes who has a bucket of them, you may be able to get your hands on a small 'treasure'.

Probably wasting my time but I was given a couple of Homelites and thought I'd get them working, a 150 and a 23av. Both saws were a pain and took a bit of time but I did get the 150 together and am rounding the corner on the 23av. The 150 needed carb work and a fuel line and the 23 got an engine change...

Nice thing about used cylinders is they let you know how far to grind it seems by the shadow on walls. Doesn’t look that bad mike unless I’m missing something. Whatever mix oil was used seemed to be decent.

I was being facetious; this piston was literally worn to a knife edge and chipped/cracked almost 1/2 way up the skirt.
