Damn clean 026 though!

That chain is the new “custom” low profile cutter. Adds 5hp

I believe 661 had the quickest cut time ay NY GTG just recently. Beat out some Hooskies. Lol
Big bar runoff.
660 dual port, 395 quad port.

I personally don't care which saw is faster. I just have fun runnin muh Stihl sawz. [emoji106]

I was cutting some firewood with that chain that was on the 372 then swapped it to 395 and cut some more on it...so it was far from fresh and they had the same cut time but ...the 395 cut through knots on its cuts...

I don’t mind loosing but it has to be a fair comparison with same bar and chain. Put a 36” .404 8 pin on the 395 and the 660 and watch my saw walk right by.

I sure couldn’t push on the 660 like the 395... I was showing off the torque.

Dan has a 36” .404 setup and I’m willing to bet 100$ that the 660 is not catching the 395 in big wood with that bar.

I don’t doubt a 660 can be made fast. Yours and the tree monkey 064/66 are examples of that.

I would buy a 661 honestly if I had the money. The one I’m using isn’t mine but I’ve been enjoying it.

I think the newer technogy quad port saws are smoother and stronger in general.
Nothing wrong with those stock Stihls your using. Look at the videos how smooth and stable they cut. Make a great work saw.
