Got my grand dads tiller Saturday and have been tinkering on it in between tillings. He has been gone for a while now and no one else gardened but him (he has had one every year as long as my mom can remember.) it’s an older 8 horse Troy bilt horse like this except without the brush guard.

Had to change the grommet at the bottom of the tank because it was leaking gas, didn’t know where I could find one locally, so I found a small block chevy breather tube grommet and permatexed it in place. So far it’s holding but I’ll get a new one in when I get time. Also adjusted the belts and just been tilling all weekend trying to get new ground ready for my first ever garden. Hoping to carry on his tradition with it. Also found some old vintage fishing poles (one pole was all metal never seen that before.) and an old metal 1 gallon homelite gas can. Gonna put it on a shelf somewhere for display. Dad loaded me up with a bunch of other things too that I need to go through lol.

I guess it wasn’t technically on my bench cause I couldn’t pick it up if I wanted to lol. I did find his old homelite hedge trimmer that I’m going to rebuild the carb on though so that and my mini Mac will be on my bench after the garden is planted
