Gotcha. I talked to him awhile (outside of eBay) about the 2101. He does seem to be a nice guy and he was completely honest about this particular saw (288)

He is really pretty fair as well. I have no clue how he scores all the great stuff though lol.

It’s dirty, missing the tag, and has a crack in the clutch cover. But that’s it.

The ad was worded oddly...saw will fire on second pull if primed, or something like that.

Full disclosure, I haven’t started it yet..and maybe the carb needs work...but it has spark and compression so I’m a wiener either way!

Absolutely. The price alone was a win even if it needs a rebuild. Sounds like it'll be good to go with a little tune up though.

Working on porting this 133 cylinder. Roughed in the intake and exhaust, matched the intake manifold. I want to do a little with the lower transfers but can’t find enough dependable info and pictures to reliably do so. Most of the threads are older and the pics are no longer showing.
