I wish they would get that dyno up and running again, it could really further our knowledge. Until then, we just have to rely on seat of the pants and timed cuts, which are not as definitive.

The only way to test things is to have 1 control tested at a time, otherwise the results won't be accurate anyways, tune should be the set the same with a tach to be accurate.

You need to tune by ear. A different muffler will result in a different RPM for 4 stroking.

I respectfully disagree. Yes stock muffler is better at stock rpm... but if you run a ported muffler at stock rpm it’ll be slower. Too fat.
