Pros and cons with tracks....maximum traction, even on ice. Go through any height of snow. Blows it like 50' it's just crazy. Never got it jammed with slush.

It's horrible to move even with the hydrostatic disabled. I have it on a movers dolly to roll it around. You have to "spin" it after each pass to change directions.

They are ridiculously expensive. I think the new ones are $2600. Mine was used.image.jpgimage.jpg

I'm sorry I've not been contributing much lately my friends. I've been sick....

Not really feeling much better, but the show must go on. Here's the best new to me tool I've bought in quite some time.......

I've had a wicked respiratory infection this past week. Haven't been this sick in a while. Just about better now thanks to antibiotics. Cold season is definately here.

I like cutting the grass. Once a week, looks nice when your done. Drink a beverage in the nice warmth....

Snow blowing stinks. Freezing, blowing...no matter which way you turn the shoot it seems to hit you in the face. Every wind brake I've tried keeps the fumes in the cab with you or the snow lays on the windscreen and you can't hardly see. Then the wind blows and drifts over what you just removed so you need to do it again.

Now if you were a plow driver it's white gold, but as a homeowner who doesn't get paid to remove it...,it's awful.

I don't mind blowing snow, around here it is like a neighbourhood party after a good dumping of snow. 5 or 6 of us out there clearing all the drives and the road too. We blow all the snow to one spot and build a slide for the kids.

Joe @Onan18 is there a fully adjustable Tecumseh 8 horse snow king carb that is newly manufactured? All of the newest ones are non adjustable. I'd like to get a decent carb that I can find tune, not some epa carb.

I did find that there is an adjustable one made by Oregon. It's Oregon 50-642. Is this my only choice? I know it's Chinese built.

I believe there is one available from Rotary but it is probably Chinese as well. :(

Could be worse and only have a shovel?

How does a snow blower make it that far south?

When I worked for the Deere dealer we had a customer in Argentina that bought about three PTO driven blowers from us a year. They were shipped to our dealership, we assembled and checked them over, then put them on a pallet and off they went.
