Not joking I've had to reverse at least a dozen probably more chains over the years if it came in a box ebay amazon etc. And looked close enough to the pic that's how she was run now echo is the only one i can think of that it's installed already.
And my retired mechanic friend they sold and serviced Johnny's stihl alpina efco husky's etc. Has seen it all here's some of my favorite's lot's of offroad diesel it has a different smell and color than reg diesel a full tank of marvel mystery oil a full tank of octane 194 boost for more power fried the rings. dish soap when out of bar oil has seen lot's of bar oil in the gas tank me too on that one my favorite was the girl who put some kind of oil vinaigrette salad dressing in for bar oil he called it the summer's eve saw lol.

I seen some stuff like that too. My favorite was when I saw a random guy in a parking lot dumping oil in his radiator!

You guys suppose there was a bad run of cabers or somebody selling fake cabers .
i reringed a 257 i honed the cylinder it was perfect no transfer for a guy last summer he ran it 50/1 husky oil for a short time and it lost compression i tore it down at his house and reringed it with a Chinese ring i had the "caber" was worn out thin plenty of oil on the piston just wondering if it happened to you guy's can't find where i bought it from it was in a envelope not a plastic case i remember.

I love it when they put bar oil in the fuel tank! Those are cheap ones or free! I find them at the scrap yard that way.

Idk I've had good luck with even the chinese rings but these were definitely soft oh well didn't damage anything and i can't find where i bought them.

Dunno whatever Meteor tryed to make, but it doesnt fit well for either 42 or 242, 31th of the piston crown is a disaster.
Have 3 choices, drop the jug (means I have to get a friend to drop it), buy OEM piston, or use one mint kit.

Seems my weekend has changed, no 42 special, will probleby knock together that 346 xpg NE and one 550 xpg instead, both are going to a friend of me.

This really doesn't make it much louder it's still bearable without muffs.

I spent an hour going through that old 041 I got yesterday and cleaned up the chain the best I could, the bar is pretty wore and needs squeezed and dressed.

Working on a muffler for a 2152/53 of mine, previous owner opened it up a little to far from the deflector, got the top cover hot enough to sag but it isn't to bad yet, here a couple pics, as you can tell I am cutting off the factory deflector and going to try a 288 style on it, I like them because the spark arrestor is still changeable.

Got my piston rings from Dave yesterday so I could finish building my hybrid. ( that was fast shipping) all that's left to do is a muffler mod. I plan on adding another port to the fw side with deflector.
