Today I cleaned up 5 cylinders. 1 is no good, 3 are ok, one I'm thinking about.

One got a good working over with the grinder, one got the ports very slightly worked over, one got "cleaned" and one I didn't touch.
Some of them may or may not be in the dish washer at this time. Shhh!

Well my son is home from college for the weekend. So that got me motivated to get back on the hybrid. It's been sitting on the bench so close to being finished. He helped tear apart the 044 when I got it so I told him he will build this along with me. First I had him apply the heat foil to the case.

Then we attached the tank to the case. Got the intake manifold and impulse line in.

fished the wire and got the master control lever in. Installed the fuel line and filter. The we rebuilt the carb and called it quits for the night. We might get to fire it up tomorrow. High is only going to be 15*!

Getting some new covers for a custom look! Updates to follow! We also advanced the timing and port matched the muffler and gasket!

I killed a 036 jug a few days ago. It was so close to being good, and I cut thru the plating. :(

Are you planning a GTG this year, or is it too early to know?

I just had an inquiry regarding that from another person who was at the first one. We are willing to host one but it depends if we can get logs. The pile left over from the other 2 GTGs is mostly depleted and has been turned into firewood. (it was getting punky) If we do one, it will probably be in the fall. Got a lot going on for the next several months.

The hybrid is alive! She fired up and I made a couple adjustments on the carb. Got it close and put her in wood! She felt pretty strong! Too cold for anything else! Videos maybe later in the week!

Probably not. I work a lot of weekends and haven't been able to make the PA ones either. If you come down to the PA one there will be a couple there and I'll send mine with Glock37 and he will have one by then.
