Check the points for opening and closing. You can clean them with a fingernail file followed by a piece of paper. Gap should be most likely in the range of .018" to .020".

Saw in a box. Top handle and brake Flagg busted. I have no idea how the muffler got crushed. Plastic cover for it only has a hairline crack. Same guy with the 395. Lol.
