I went ahead and covered it before I started. Poked many holes and had the two burners under it on high till it started smoking. To get my heat low I had to kill one more which left me with one burner going on low. She's smoking good now
There you go make shift smoker

Cool Ive had some say don't do it or what the hell are you doing you need that on there. Do you guys go for the pull off the bone style or the bite and jerk style?

Here is how I use my smoker. I get into my stash of apple, cherry, and the Lil bit of hickory I have. Break out the chainsaw and cut pucks or short logs depending on diameter. I use a snow sled to collect my saw dust with oiler turned way down, bag up my saw dust and use it for my steam pot1494794325633-1691503037.jpg

I'm about to pull these off the grill. Should I leave them uncovered in the oven? Also meaty side up or down?
