Sorry Kevin. In 1991 I shot a Michigan elk. I processed and froze it but awhile later my freezer took a dump. That was a sad day. Lost it all

I don't have a Smoker:(What would you guys recommend
Buy a Weber Performer...best $330 you ever spent. Use the coal holders to keep the heat indirect, or scatter coals when needed. I can send you info on my four rotisserie rack/extension ring set-up as well. Makes crazy good baby backs and half chickens. Can do either four racks of baby backs at one time, or eight half chickens.

...or you load the racks up with burgers, dogs, veggies, etc, etc...sky's the limit!!

I should've taken pics from a little while back but I guess the hungry crew and the Bud Lights were kicking hard...I made 16 homemade salmon patties, 4 per rack, and slung them on there low and slow on the rotisserie racks...Finest loaded salmon patties I've ever had. They ended up 5-Star action!!

That Rib-O-lator is the cat's meow. Post some pics of that rack with ribs on it. ;)

What do you use a grill for for treating traps?

The only land trapping I do is coon, and that's only trail sets with 220's. I generally only focus on muskrats and mink. All I do for 110's and 220's is dye them.

Coyotes only now. I have caught apx. 660 coons and 700+ possums. in the last 7 + years, with the 650's and the 220's . I forgot the 550's The 550's caught the most of the critters. esp. the coons and possums. Best trap is the bridger #3

Gottcha, you are waxing em.
Years ago we did that once.... It doesn't work so well on 110's in streams. They all became hair triggered.

We didn't even go for coon last year. At around $5-8 they were not worth the time to deal with them.

You are right, I don't wax my conibears either, just the coyote traps. We can trap and shoot them SOb's year around here. I guess you can tell I don't like coyotes.

1 of the deer roast after opening up. Done in a oven. Best tasting deer roast I have ever had and comes from a recipe from 20+ years ago.
So we have never tried others since.
