Last night we did burgers and tonight is chicken drummies. Tomorrow will be some ribeyes after our fishing trip. Not a super nice grill but I’m making it work here in Florida. I’m in charge of cooking which is fine by me. Did some omelettes and egg sandwiches this morning for those that were hungry. Once I get home it will be time to get the Pitboss back in action. Still haven’t decided on its replacement but it will happen in time.

IMG_5659.jpegMade a tri tip brisket style. I have never done a tri tip but some friends gave me a couple from their go to locker. They come pre seasoned but I’d add more pepper next time. It won’t last long here but it was only 2 pounds. Of course the wonderful PB app wouldn’t even load today.

The savages didnt let me get too many after pics. Ribs turned out real good and tender. No sauce just rub, did add a few pads of butter and some apple cider while wrapped to finish. Prob my best ribs yet, still a newbie with ribs but I ain't scared anymore, lol! Hillbilly taters r about all gone. So r the 5 slabs. I’m smoking some cream cheese. After two hours it will get some pizza sauce shredded mozzarella and little pepperoni and back on the smoker till it’s all hit and melted. Then we will make some bread sticks for dipping. Damn internet causing me to try new things. Forgot to mention the cream cheese was sprinkled with the new Danos red pepper seasoning.
